Overview
This session is intended to provide information on safety aspects when scanning pediatric patients and how they may vary from adult patients. The session will be followed by an interactive panel discussion and Q & A forum.

Target Audience
MR radiographers and technologists, clinicians, and physicists.

Educational Objectives
As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:
- List the different safety precautions required when scanning a fetus, newborn, or neonate; and
- Explain thermoregulation, acoustic noise, and heating/burns.
