Overview
In this educational series, we highlight software tools developed by the community to MR data analysis, simulation, sequence design, and image reconstruction. The software demos will be presented in the online tutorial format, with an additional tutorial session providing an overview of the selected software packages, with short power-pitch-style introductions, as well as a panel discussion on the merits of open and community-led software development. Participants are encouraged to bring their own few questions and data for the interactive session to maximize their benefit from the developers' guidance.

Target Audience
Attendees interested in learning about software tools available for MR practitioners

Educational Objectives
As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:
- Explain the value of research software and the motivation of developers who release research software;
- Evaluate the range of software tools that have been developed by the community;
- Apply existing software tools for the participants' MR research questions; and
- Develop reproducible research and therefore accelerate advancement of our field by utilizing freely available tools from the community for their own work.

Osprey is an open-source MRS analysis package streamlining uniform pre-processing, linear-combination modeling, tissue correction and quantification adhering to recent consensus guidelines. It provides an end-to-end analysis solution for the broader MRS community including application-focused researchers, and quick development benchmarking for methodologists. The software tutorial will cover a general overview of the software’s capabilities and demonstrate easy translation to the user’s own research questions. Here, we present Osprey’s modular capabilities  for quick method development – showing published example studies – and translation into application research and teaching using Osprey’s job file system and example data.
