Overview
Low-field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems have recently experienced a renaissance due to technological advances (both hardware and software). In this session, audiences will learn the potential clinical impacts of portable low field MRI from the first presentation, the possible future of low field MRI from the second presentation, and the current applications and performance of the low-field MRI systems (<1T) from the third presentation.

	11:15		Opportunities in Interventional & Diagnostic Imaging by Using High-Performance Low-Field-MRI View the Presentation Adrienne Campbell-Washburn Contemporary high-performance low and mid field MRI systems offer new clinical opportunities for MRI. These opportunities include increased accessibility, point-of-care imaging, new applications that are better suited for fields (eg. pulmonary imaging, MRI-guided interventions). When paired with advanced image acquisition and reconstruction methods, high quality images can be achieved using these systems. This talk will describe new clinical opportunities and new imaging methods for low field MRI systems, with a particular focus on high-performance 0.55T systems.
