____________Job Opportunities___________

The Foundation of the European Institute of Oncology – Milan (www.ieo.it) announces a grant of 20.000 euros (gross) per year for graduates in Fisics or Biomedical Engineering, dedicated for a research project within the Radiology Department. The research will focus on Magnetic Resonance Imaging, in particular on the analysis of diffusion and perfusion imaging.  Strictly necessary are the knowledge of programming (for example Matlab) applied to tomographic images and the use of instruments for visualization and elaboration of images.
The offer will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.

For further information and applications please contact:
Paul Summers (paul.summers@ieo.it) o Giuseppe Petralia (giuseppe.petralia@ieo.it)

-The Centre for Nanotechnology Innovation (Pisa, Italy, cni.iit.it) has three immediate 6 to 9 months internship openings in the analysis of Magnetic Resonance Images.

A - The analysis of functional MRI resting-state signals in preclinical models of neurological disorders.
We are seeking for an intern that will develop and implement an image-processing and analysis pipeline to analyze and classify resting state MR signals.

B - The implementation of algorithms for multi-dimensional analysis of MR functional and structural connectivity datasets.

C - Development of MRI sequences and image analysis for cardiac function analysis at 7 Tesla. The intern will apply MRI methods to image cardiac function and anatomy, and initiate the development of analytical platform for high-resolution cardiac MR datasets.
