Italian chapter of the International Society
of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine

The association represents the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) in Italy and acts upon its goals. The goals of the society focus on magnetic resonance for medical and biological applications and more specifically are as follows:

• The stimulation of research and development of magnetic resonance in medicine, encouraging communication and collaboration between MRI centres in Italy and abroad.
   

• Promoting education and study programs.
   

• Improving employment and working conditions.
   

• Providing information and advice, including safety issues to people working in the public domain.
   

• Cooperating with local, regional and national authorities as well as public or private organisations to achieve the above-mentioned aims.
