2026 Clinical Stipend Program

The ISMRM invites applications for clinical stipends that offer support for the attendance of junior clinical faculty at the 2026 ISMRM & ISMRT Annual Meeting & Exhibition. The ISMRM will provide up to 40 awards.

Who Should Apply? Practicing physicians or licensed medical practitioners who are verified clinical faculty within the first five years of their career (e.g., instructor, assistant professor, or equivalent), and who are interested in attending the 2026 Annual Meeting. Abstract submission is not required.

Restrictions:

• Applicants must be a member of the ISMRM;
• Preference will be given to first-time attendees to the annual meeting;
• Applicants may only apply to one stipend program per year. If an applicant applies for more than one program, all applications will be disqualified;
• Receipt of a stipend through this program is limited to one year only;
• Applicants must submit a scientific abstract;
• Applicants are required to attend at least 4 days of the ISMRM meeting.

Application Requirements:

• A letter from the applicant that includes a brief statement of their interest in attending the 2026 ISMRM & ISMRT Annual Meeting & Exhibition and explain how this will relate to their own work;
• A letter of support from the Department Chair verifying the eligibility of the applicant for the program and that the applicant will be given the time off to attend and will be funded by the institution or personal funds;
• A curriculum vitae of the applicant;
