2026 Educational Stipend Program

The ISMRM invites applications for educational stipends that offer support for the attendance of students, postdoctoral and clinical trainees to present abstracts at the 2026 ISMRM & ISMRT Annual Meeting & Exhibition. Those applicants who are first authors on the abstract will be given priority. Stipend recipients are limited to three years of support.

2026 ISMRM membership is required by 29 October 2025 at 23:59 UTC (see your local time above). If you are not a member, you will need to complete the membership application process on or before that deadline to be considered for an educational stipend. Current members will need to pay their 2026 membership dues by the same deadline.

An ID number is required to complete the ECHO stipend application process. Past members should use their existing account ID number. If you have never been a member nor have an account on ismrm.org, please create an account here. Current members should renew their membership for 2026 before using the ECHO website.

Application to the educational stipend program is incorporated into the online abstract submission process.

Who Should Apply?

• Students who are currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program;
• Clinical trainees who are currently enrolled in a full-time clinical training program; or
• Postdoctoral trainees who have received a doctorate or equivalent degree after 31 July 2022.

Application Requirements:

Application to the educational stipend program is incorporated into the abstract submission process. It is mandatory that applicants complete the application on the ISMRM abstract submission website, which will require:

• ISMRM membership number;
• Supervisor’s name and contact information (Institution and email address); and
• Abstract (first authors will be given preference)
