Membership Calendar
ISMRM membership runs on a calendar year basis and is effective 01 January through 31 December. Membership applications may be submitted year-round.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Applications submitted between 01 January and 30 September are effective for the current calendar year. Approved applicants will receive all publications mailed since 01 January and will be invoiced in December for the following year’s dues.
- Applications submitted between 02 October and 31 December are effective for the following calendar year. Membership benefits will not begin until 01 January.
Membership dues are not refundable.

ISMRM Full (High-Income/ Upper Middle Income Country)
A Full Member is an individual who is involved in magnetic resonance in medicine, biology, or other related topics, in research, education, manufacture, or practice. Full Members have the right to vote and hold office. The applicant must submit one copy of their curriculum vitae with, where possible, a list of peer-reviewed publications in the field of MR. Do not include abstracts or book chapters.

ISMRM Full (LMIC)
This is a Full Member who is currently living in a low- and middle-income country and is involved in magnetic resonance in medicine, biology, or other related topics, in research, education, manufacture, or practice. An Emeritus Member is an ISMRM Full Member who has paid the specified regular dues for five (5) consecutive years and has retired from more than casual employment. ISMRM Trainee
A Trainee Member is an individual enrolled full-time in an academic program that actively engages in the application of magnetic resonance in medicine and biology. The applicant must submit one copy of their abbreviated curriculum vitae and a trainee verification letter on letterhead signed by a department head/adviser that describes the training program, type of degree, field of study, and expected date of completion by the applicant (see details below). Eligibility for trainee membership must be confirmed annually.
