Airport Information

Cape Town International Airport (CPT) is located 21 km (13 miles) away from the Cape Town International Convention Centre, around a 20-30 minute car ride.

Car Rentals

Bus

There is one MyCiTi bus route that is located along the CTICC. Route 104 (which also runs to the popular V&A Waterfront) is located on Walter Sisulu Ave., near the main entrance of CTICC 1.

There is also a dedicated City Sightseeing Hop-on Hop-off bus stop located at CTICC Entrance 3 on Walter Sisulu Ave. View the bus stop location on Google Maps here.

Water Taxi

Cape Town’s City Sightseeing’s Hop-on Hop-off Canal Cruise water taxis offer services from the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront to the CTICC on the Roggebaai Canal. The stop is located outside CTICC 1, near the P1 parking garage entrance, and it runs every 20-30 minutes. Day tickets include unlimited stops and prices start at ZAR 79.

Weather

The weather in Cape Town in May has chances of rain and more overcast skies. May is in the middle of the autumn season, and temperatures range from a high of 20°C (68°F) to 8°C (46°F). Attendees should pack umbrellas and a waterproof jacket/warmer clothing for the nights.
