2026 MRI Safety Day Program

With growing interest from radiographers and technologists, physicists, nuclear medicine technologists, and clinicians, and with imminent changes in Australia to deregulate and remove MRI licensing restrictions, the need for robust MRI safety education is more important than ever. This year’s meeting will address current clinical MRI safety challenges, upcoming changes in the ANZ region, and practical solutions, with plenty of opportunity for audience discussion.

Once again, the program will feature world-renowned MRI safety expert Dr. Frank G. Shellock, Ph.D., FACR, FISMRM, alongside leading local experts for a fast-paced, informative, and engaging day of education and peer interaction. Following the formal program, attendees are invited to join Frank and the organisers for an informal get-together with drinks and canapés.
