Kick off the scientific meeting with “Study Group Day,” for deeper connections, longer conversations, and a full day built for collaboration.

This year, the scientific program begins on Sunday, 10 May with a brand-new experience: Study Group Day. We’re dedicating the day to extended Study Group sessions designed to help you meet your people early, align on what to prioritize during the week, and keep the momentum going together.

Study Group Day replaces the traditional one-hour Study Group business meetings held during the week, giving you more meaningful time on Sunday and more breathing room across the program.

What to Expect:

Six parallel tracks. One full day. All 38 Study Groups included.

Six parallel sessions containing four 2-hour Study Group sessions—structured to accommodate all 38 Study Groups in one day.

During these sessions, Study Groups will:

    • Suggest scientific sessions to attend during the week, including presentations to judge for the trainee award competitions (depending on how your Study Group chooses to run its award competition).
    • Give updates on Study Group initiatives.
    • Allow plenty of time for networking and getting to know others in the Study Group.
    • Partner with one other Study Group to build more connections within our community.

Educational Sessions Still Offered on Sunday

There will still be Educational sessions offered on Sunday, though in fewer parallel sessions than in previous years. Throughout the week, we will have longer breaks between sessions to enable time for connecting with your Study Group colleagues.

Not in a Study Group Yet? You’re Still Welcome.

You don’t need to belong to a Study Group to participate. This is a nice opportunity to see if you would like to join a Study Group. You have an open invitation to visit Study Groups that you are interested in joining (this is included with your meeting registration). Please stop in and see what the Study Groups are all about.
