Getting There

The event will be held on the ground floor of the faculty of Medical and Health Sciences building at the Grafton campus of the University of Auckland. Located at 85 Park road, Grafton, Auckland.

Airport Transport Options

Auckland Airport is about 20 km from the city center. Transfers are available via SkyBus shuttles, taxis, rideshares, and private shuttles. Wheelchair-accessible shuttle services are offered, and some taxis also provide accessibility options.

Public Transport

Auckland Transport operates buses, trains, and ferries throughout the city. Many routes are wheelchair accessible, with ramps and priority seating. The AT HOP card can be used for discounted travel across all services.

Car Rentals

Major rental companies, including Avis, Hertz, Budget, and Europcar, operate at the airport and in the city. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles may be available on request.

Car Parking

Parking at the University of Auckland’s Grafton Campus is limited. Accessible parking is available for holders of valid mobility permits. Most students and visitors will need to use street parking, nearby public parking buildings, or public transport, as the campus is well-served by bus routes. A drop-off bay is located at the main entrance for short stays.

Name Badges

The wearing of identification badges is mandatory and will be required for admission to all sessions. These will be provided at the meeting registration desk upon your arrival.

Climate

In Auckland, March marks the transition from summer to autumn. The weather is generally warm and mild, with average daytime temperatures around 20 – 25°C (68 – 77°F) and nights cooling to 15 – 18°C (59 – 64°F). Rainfall is moderate, so occasional showers are possible, but many days are sunny or partly cloudy.

If you require disability-specific facilities, please notify the Meeting Organiser by indicating this on your registration form. Access and facilities for people with disabilities are provided throughout the venue.

Dress

A smart casual / business attire dress code applies for all meeting sessions and the networking function.

Insurance

It is strongly recommended that delegates take out adequate medical, travel and personal insurance before travelling.

No Smoking Policy

The University of Auckland’s Grafton Campus is a non-smoking venue and smoking within the venue is prohibited. This includes E-cigarettes and other electronic imitations or simulation devices.
