Membership

Formation of a Chapter requires a petition of at least 25 ISMRM Members in good standing, and at least 15 of those 25 must be Full Members.

Any individual involved in magnetic resonance in medicine, biology, or other related topics in research, education, manufacture, or practice may be admitted to membership of this newly proposed chapter.

Governance

Please describe the new chapter's governance model, including:

  • Size of governance committee;
  • Ensuring that governing members are ISMRM members (per ISMRM Bylaws);
  • Length of term;
  • Whether or not elected annually;
  • How these chapter members will be nominated; and
  • A description for what each position is responsible.

The Chapter shall submit a written report bi-annually to the ISMRM Board of Trustees, including a summary of the Chapter’s activities. In addition, an accounting of the Chapter’s revenues and expenditures will be provided to the ISMRM Central Office in accordance with the ISMRM Bylaws.
