Chapters
Local chapters of the SMRT provide MR technologists the opportunity for education in their geographic area by presenting topics of interest to members and providing the vehicle for exchange of information with their local colleagues. As the SMRT is an international organization affiliated with the ISMRM to promote and conduct educational seminars for MR technologists, local chapters of the SMRT benefit from SMRT/ISMRM resources and acquire assistance in addressing MR technologist needs. Additional benefits include:
- Reimbursement of accreditation fees for chapter meetings
- Nonprofit status – 501(c)3 organization
- Local address lists of ISMRM/SMRT members
- Advance notice of ISMRM/SMRT annual meetings, seminars, and workshops, receiving significant discounted registration fees
