2027 Clinical Stipend Program

Deadline for Stipend Application & 2027 Membership/Dues:

The ISMRM invites applications for Clinical Stipends to support junior clinical faculty attending the 2027 ISMRM & ISMRT Annual Meeting & Exhibition. The ISMRM will provide up to 40 awards.

Who Should Apply?

Practicing physicians or licensed medical practitioners who are verified in clinical faculty within the first five years of their career (e.g., instructor, assistant professor, or equivalent), and who are interested in attending the 2027 Annual Meeting. Abstract submission is not required.

Restrictions:

  • Applicants must be a member of the ISMRM;
  • Preference will be given to first-time attendees to the annual meeting;
  • Applicants may only apply to one stipend program per year. If an applicant applies for more than one program, all applications will be disqualified;
  • Receipt of a stipend through this program is limited to one year only;
  • Applicants are required to attend at least 4 days of the ISMRM meeting.

Application Requirements:

  • A letter from the applicant that includes a brief statement of their interest in attending the 2027 ISMRM & ISMRT Annual Meeting & Exhibition and explains how this will relate to their own work;
  • A letter of support from the Department Chair verifying the applicant’s eligibility for the program, confirming that the applicant will be granted time off to attend the meeting, and stating that the associated expenses will be covered either by the institution or through the applicant’s personal funds;
  • A curriculum vitae of the applicant.

Stipend applicants MUST join or pay 2027 dues by 28 October 2026 at 23:59 UTC. Failure to do so will result in your stipend application being denied.
