Accommodation Information

Booking accommodation with your registration

Accommodation has been reserved at a variety of accommodation styles on behalf of meeting delegates at the locations below until Thursday 15 August 2019, after which time you will need to book directly with the venue. Accommodation will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings and is subject to availability. To secure the meeting accommodation rates, bookings should be made online as part of the online registration process.

All venues are within a short walking distance to the Adelaide Convention Centre.

Arrival time

Please indicate your estimated time of hotel arrival during the booking process. If you wish to guarantee your room is ready before the hotel check-in time it is recommended that you book and pay for the room for the evening prior to your arrival. Failure to advise your arrival time if arriving after 18:00 may mean that your room will be released.

Payment for accommodation

Please note that payment of accommodation is not taken at the time of completing an online meeting registration, however a credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your room with the hotel. A wider range of credit cards may be available for accommodation payment (including Diners and American Express). Accommodation providers have varying deposit and guarantee requirements (please refer to each individual venue’s terms and conditions below). After the booking is established your credit card guarantee will be managed by the accommodation provider.

If you wish the venue to settle your account with a credit card of which you are not the signatory, you must provide written authority to the hotel to do so. A third party credit card form will be emailed to the guest approximately 30 days prior to check in. This form should be completed and returned directly to the hotel.

You may prepay the full amount of your accommodation via EFT (bank transfer) directly to the venue within 30 days prior to check in. Please email the Meeting secretariat at smrtanz2019@expertevents.com.au to request a pro-forma tax invoice for prepayment.

Changes to your accommodation booking

For changes to accommodation prior to 15 August 2019 please contact the Meeting secretariat at smrtanz2019@expertevents.com.au.

After 15 August 2019 please contact the venue directly.

Extending your stay

If you wish to extend your stay prior to or following the meeting, please specify your requirements in the special instructions field during the accommodation booking process. Availability and rates will be checked with the hotel before your reservation is fully confirmed.

Standard Queen

Standard Twin
It’s the simple but smart details that count and that’s exactly what our twin room provides. The rooms consist of two King Single beds – great for groups wanting to stick together.

Rates:

$159 per room per night. Includes complimentary Express Start Buffet Breakfast or Grab and Go Option. Served between 6:30am and 9:30am Monday to Friday, or 7:00am to 10:00am Saturday and Sunday.

InterContinental Adelaide

Positioned on the banks of the River Torrens, the InterContinental Adelaide provides luxury city centre accommodation, dining and meeting spaces. The hotel is situated within walking distance to the Adelaide Festival Centre, Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Oval plus many more attractions only a short distance away.

Room type:
King Superior rooms – 35 sqm, king bed, desk, lounge, tv and large bathroom (separate shower and bath).

Rates:
$220 per room per night

15:00 Check-in / 11:00 Check-out

Car parking:
Valet parking available for in-house guests for an additional $45.00 per day

Internet:
Complimentary for all guests

Payment:
A one night deposit per room will be charged to the credit card on file 30 days prior to check-in (13th August). Remaining accommodation is to be paid upon check-in. All incidental charges incurred during your stay must be settled on check-out.

Additional Charges:
Breakfast is an additional cost. Full buffet breakfast in the Riverside Restaurant is $39.00 per person, per day.

1.5% for VISA and Mastercard. 3% for AMEX and Diners.

Cancellation Policy:
90-31 days prior to arrival: Any unused rooms can be released with no penalty
30-14 days prior to arrival:  Full cancellation fees apply
Within 14 days of arrival:  Full cancellation fees apply
No shows:  No shows are charged full cancellation fees as outlined in the 30 business day cancellation policy.

Mercure Grosvenor Hotel
125 North Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000

At the Mercure Grosvenor hotel, you will find the best of Adelaide at your doorstep. Across the road from the Adelaide Convention Centre, a ten minute walk from the Adelaide Oval and a five minute walk to Rundle Mall, the Mercure Grosvenor hotel offers guests wonderful value at a prime location.

Room type:

Standard room
Standard rooms offer comfortable accommodation and features such as one or two queen beds, a work desk, LCD TV and Foxtel, coffee and tea facilities and creature comforts such as a hair dryer and ironing facilities.

Rates:
$169 per night per room.

Check-in/check-out:
Check-in is available from 2.00pm and check-out is prior to 11.00am.

Car parking:
Self-parking is available for $20 per vehicle per day.

Additional Charges:
A full buffet breakfast is available fort $20 per person per day when included at the time of booking your room.  $27.00 per person if not pre-booked.

Within 14 days of arrival:  A 100% cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card on file.
