Booking accommodation with your registration
Accommodation has been reserved at a variety of accommodation styles on behalf of meeting delegates at the Pan Pacific Melbourne, Crowne Plaza Melbourne, Holiday Inn Melbourne on Flinders, Punthill Apartments Northbank, and Shortstay Apartments Southbank Collection until Friday, 5 October 2018. After which time you will need to book directly with the venue. Accommodation will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings and is subject to availability. To secure the meeting accommodation rates, bookings should be made online as part of the online registration process.
All venues are within a short walking distance to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Please indicate your estimated time of hotel arrival during the booking process. If you wish to guarantee your room is ready before the hotel check-in time it is recommended that you book and pay for the room for the evening prior to your arrival. Failure to advise your arrival time if arriving after 18:00 may mean that your room will be released.
Payment for accommodation
Please note that payment of accommodation is not taken at the time of completing an online meeting registration, however a credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your room with the hotel. A wider range of credit cards may be available for accommodation payment (including Diners and American Express). Accommodation providers have varying deposit and guarantee requirements (please refer to each individual venue’s terms and conditions below). After the booking is established your credit card guarantee will be managed by the accommodation provider.
If you wish the venue to settle your account with a credit card of which you are not the signatory, you must provide written authority to the hotel to do so. A third party credit card form will be emailed to the guest approximately 30 days prior to check in. This form should be completed and returned directly to the hotel.
You may prepay the full amount of your accommodation via EFT (bank transfer) directly to the venue within 30 days prior to check in. Please email the Meeting secretariat at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a pro-forma tax invoice for prepayment.
Changes to your accommodation booking
For changes to accommodation prior to Friday 5 October please contact the Meeting secretariat at email@example.com
After Friday 5 October please contact the venue directly.
Extending your stay
If you wish to extend your stay prior to or following the meeting, please specify your requirements in the special instructions field during the accommodation booking process. Availability and rates will be checked with the hotel before your reservation is fully confirmed.
