SBIC and ISMRM in 2016
Singapore Ambassador Volunteers
The Singapore Bioimaging Consortium supported the Annual Meeting with 27 volunteers as ambassadors at the Suntec conventional center. The volunteers were very attentive to the questions and needs of foreign participants and received excellent feedback for the duration of the Annual Meeting. Kudos to all for the tireless efforts and ready smiles of our volunteers – you showed off the best face of Singapore hospitality!

Pre-ISMRM workshop in Singapore
SBIC organized the pre-ISMRM workshop on Biomedical Magnetic Resonance on 6th May 2015, just before the main Annual Meeting. Fifteen international speakers gave talks in 5 Scientific sessions covering Metabolism, MSK, Cancer, Neuroimaging and emerging MR technologies. There were 150 participants including local and international clinical, basic science researchers and students. It was a day of robust exchanges and networking that also enabled us to show the vibrant research community in Singapore, particularly at SBIC.

Spinal Cord MRI study group
SBIC also hosted the 3rd Spinal Cord MRI study group at SBIC on May 13th. The aim of this workshop is to bring together spinal cord MRI researchers and clinicians from around the world to discuss the technical issues related to acquisition and processing of data and come up with collaborative solutions.
