ISMRM Mentorship Program for Women
The ISMRM Ad Hoc Committee on Women in ISMRM aims to foster the engagement, advancement and achievements of women in magnetic resonance. One goal is to provide leadership for career development opportunities. In this regard, the committee has established a mentorship program to assist in achieving this goal.
Mentorship is expected to refer to in-person meetings, emails and telephone conversations, as mutually agreed upon by both parties.
Who can apply as a mentor? ISMRM members who meet the following two criteria:
- Are at least five years post terminal degree (MD/residency, post-doc or grad student);
- Are active in the field of magnetic resonance imaging.

Included in the survey is a request to attach a short (<200 words) bio as well as a picture, that would ultimately become available to prospective mentees.
